Operations Logistics Manager
For a client in Manchester we are looking to help recruit an Operations Manager. The roles includes taking care of Customer Relationships and ensuring effective delivery of our services. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the office staff, the cleaning teams, planning in advance the cleaning schedules throughout the UK, managing the organisations HR, managing the organisations Health and Safety, managing the ISO, managing budgets in collaboration with the Senior Team, ensuring effective business operations.
Reporting to the Managing Director and serving as a member of the senior team, this position’s primary responsibility is ensuring organisational effectiveness by providing leadership for the administrative and cleaning teams.
Main Areas of Accountability
- Managing and increasing the effectiveness and efficiencies of the administrative and cleaning teams.
- Planning the daily cleaning tasks in advance, ensuring jobs are carried out methodically and to budget throughout the UK
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including driving the service levels provided to our customers
- Reducing errors within the department Make effective decisions on a daily basis with the benefit of the business in mind
- Identify learning and development needs of team members and provide feedback to the senior team
- Analyse daily operational performance statistics of team to identify issues of concern/improvement
- Pro-actively drive the team on to reach/exceed targets
- Put in place new ways of working positively and engage the teams in wanting to make these changes
- Communicate the company vision and goals so the team is fully aware and understands how they can have a positive impact
- Implement new guidelines on managing current and new projects
- Produce department reports daily/weekly/monthly as feedback to the senior team
- Ensure escalation procedures are adhered to and issues are addressed pro-actively and confidentially
- Actively support company policy and best practice in relation all aspects of our business
- Manage the budgets and be involved in budget forecasting with the senior team
- Set departmental policies and procedures appropriate to the relevant areas of the business
- Engender a positive, creative and successful team through creating a team that works together to achieve goals and objectives
- Continually striving to increase customer service levels through the business and actively seek feedback from our customers
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- Strong customer focus, inter personal understanding and decision making skills are essential
- Background in Operational Management roles
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managing a team where coaching has been an integral part of the role
- Actively attempt to influence events to achieve goals – creating a challenging and rewarding environment to work in
- Ability to positively influence team members
- Diplomacy – ability to develop professional relationships with team and managers and create an environment of trust, confidence and mutual respect Monitor results of assignments, projects, challenges
- Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Plan, organise and prioritise work load Attention to detail (to be able to deal with tasks quickly and efficiently, as well as with accuracy)
- Must be customer focused and have strong problem solving skills Ability to look at situations from different points of view

Business Development Manager
Main Responsibilities
As part of our Sales Team, the successful candidate will:
- Be an enthusiastic, ambitious and results orientated sales person, used to identifying and contacting new Customers, as well as successfuly closing new pieces of business.
- Develope contacts at all levels, and within allocated business objectives, will account manage existing customers to nurture the relationship and ensure business growth from within.
- Include targets in bringing new business prospects, and identifying potential areas of business for the wholel of the Company's bespoke product range.
- Plan, arrange and conduct a minimum number of networking meetings to encourage referrals to the Company and, whenever possible, sign preferred supplier agreements, with new or existing business prospects.
Significant travelling within the UK will be a feature of this role.

- Being an excellent communicator, organised and resilient, someone who keeps their knowledge of our clients, markets, products, services and competitors up-to-date.
- Being results orientated, and have a proven track record of generating successful and sustained new business relationships, by effectively handling client's expectations and creatively overcoming eventual difficulties.
This role will suit experienced Field Sales / Business Development Managers (BDM) or tenacious individuals with a proven track record in high-pressure telesales, who want to move into Field Sales and have some former presentation experience to customers.
You may have experience in the following roles: Field Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Telesales Executive, Regional Sales, Territory Sales and similar.
