Bug tracking systems are software applications used to keep track of bugs as and when they are reported. Whilst generally used for specifically tracking software bugs the application is able to track individual transactions and resources.
This is an extremely valuable application used extensively by companies that have many ongoing projects and numerous resources to track projects.
Productivity can be controlled used such a system and benchmarked accordingly. Timesheets can be produced and reviewed by Management and project costing can also be calculated.
